We are Team 6479, a FIRST Robotics team from Tempe, Arizona, working out of Corona Del Sol High School. We are made up of 70 members who work together to learn all the different aspects of building a robot and running a business. All of our programming is done in-house by programmers of all different levels and, for those who are interested in more hands-on work, we have the mechanical team. These students learn all the basics of building a robot and all the different components that go into it. We also have a variety of other subteams— including finance, outreach, media, spirit, electrical CAD, and strategy— that play a vital role in the success of our team. Our goal is to create a safe and thoughtful environment that accepts everyone and allows students to work towards their dream in whatever field they are interested in pursuing. We are Team 6479.
